2011: Winner of Excellence in Building And Construction Award Home Project/Renovation Under $150,000.
The brief for the wining Home/Project Renovation was:
We were commissioned to remove a wall between the dining and lounge area opening this area up to provide an open plan scheme.
To provide a new functional and modern kitchen which included a pantry, microwave space, dishwasher space, area for a larger fridge and overhead cupboards.
In the bathroom, the owners wanted to remove the bath and replace with a large shower only, be provided with a modern vanity and tap ware and toilet in bathroom. Skylights were placed in both the kitchen and bathroom ceilings to provide natural light which the home was lacking as both areas were quite dark and the only real lighting was from electrical lights.
Tiling of the floor for the entire home was also completed.

A major renovation to a post cyclone ground level house, was well managed and finished to a high standard.
2011: Winner of Excellence in Building And Construction Award Bathroom Design Over $21,000.
The brief for the winning Bathroom Design over $21,000:
Was to completely alter the floor line of the bathroom so the porcelain floor tiles were a seamless flow through following the existing 3mm grout lines from the living and bedroom areas.
The grey wall and red feature wall tiles have a 1 and a 1/2 (half) mm grout line. The owner wanted a hob less shower area with a frameless shower screen. He requested that approximately 15 down lights be installed 300 – 400 mm apart in the bathroom ceiling and we placed these on a split circuit to keep within the power rating. The placement of the mirror height, power point heights and all the accessories, had to be to exact requirements
We provided and fitted a new two pack vanity in alternating colours with 20mm stone bench top, replaced the existing mirror, toilet and cistern, the hot water system, supplied and installed a new laundry tub in two pack with matching stone bench top as the vanity.

The winner is SAR Contracting for the “Neon Sriwongpaen” Bathroom Renovation.
The renovation of an existing bathroom and laundry area in an apartment into an exceptional bathroom, was very well done.
2011: Certificate of High Commendation Kitchen Design up to $20,000.
We were commissioned by the owners to assist with design, supply and fitting of their kitchen for their new home they were building themselves.
The design included incorporating a display unit, large fridge area, overhead cupboards, abundance of bench top space, all cooking appliances to be functional and aesthetically appealing, an island bench with water fall ends and to incorporate a home office area with built in ironing board in the area.
