These pictures are all part of the award winning alterations/additions/renovations category (under $150,000) at the Master Builders Association’s awards in Darwin, Northern Territory for 2012.
The brief from the owner was to enclose an open room off the main bedroom into a walk in robe and ensuite and to renovate and provide a new galley kitchen with stone bench top, glass fronted easy open cupboards and 2 pack cupboards.
The owner also wanted to enlarge the existing kitchen window with sliding and louvres above with a servery top and to change an existing hinged door that led to the Patio Area a bi fold door.
Only high quality fittings and accessories were utilised for this renovation and Joe LibrioAssociates and Designer were commissioned by the owners to draw up the plans and specifications which were to be followed.
