This bathroom in Darwin, NT, was chosen as the 2012 Winner Bathroom of the Year and Renovated Bathroom 30,001-$45,000 at the NT Housing Industry Association Awards.
We were commissioned by the owners to renovate the bathroom, of the home and project manage the works.
In the main bathroom, the owners decided they wanted no step down or lip entering from the passageway, this involved removing all of the flooring and lowering the floor level to ensure the floor was level and seamless entry was achieved and they wanted all water to run to one main floor grate.
We lowered the ceiling turning it from a raked ceiling to a flat ceiling to allow for the inclusion of and overhead shower rose.
The joinery is all tip on touch and the vanity was custom made by Jaguar Kitchens with Caesar stone bench top with waterfall ends.
This renovation has turned a tired bathroom into a modern area the family will enjoy for years to come.
